about

The third release from the Dubai based 264 Records imprint brings together international and local talent to serve up heavy remixes of select cuts from AELI’s successful debut album, Late Future Calls. Focusing on diversity and fresh production approaches, Late Future Calls Remixed presents three of AELI’s pieces in alternate spaces, disparate worlds and transport the foundations of the works to a new plane of existence.

Palimpsest gets the Deft touch and takes shape in a twisted new light, as the UK producer’s signature shifty production and crisp sound design envelops the piece while retaining the melancholy and mystery of the original.

Los Angeles “Beat Scene” founding father Daedeuls steps up to remix Guasba Lik, the original championed early on by LA cohort The Gaslamp Killer now enters an abrasive carnival of lofty brain dance and footwork inspired chops.

Dubai producer Kobra (aka Outerdub aka Moez Munshi) flexes his handle on minimalist and deep bass sounds with his sparse, skeletal grime take on Palimpsest.

Know V.A. teleported Lot-Fi to a glassy ice planet and sculpt around the theme with fiery, chainsaw strings and neck-break drum hits - absolute killer from the Amsterdam based duo.

Homegrown talent, Nasrawi takes Gusaba Lik to a dusty, hot, eastern village street and nonchalantly builds a killer groove around atmospheres like only he can.
